Undocumented Mentorship Academy
The Undocumented Mentorship Academy (UMA) is one of our most valued programs. The program provides a space for undocumented youth to enjoy mentorship opportunities and foster relationships with community members. They engage in social activism and professional development skills geared towards preparing them for a career. Program highlights include:
Three cohorts with a total of 30 students from the cities of Riverside, Ontario, Bloomington, Upland, San Bernardino, Nuevo, and Montclair.
Workshops on topics like Story of Self, Social Justice History of the IE, and Civic Engagement an an Undocumented Student. The students also participate in a legislative visit
